My new project is EU container trailer for 20' container. All parts I will make with CNC. I will use Tyres and mudguards from Italeri.
For drawing I'm using 3D programme. All parts I will make from Polystyrole. I decided that for this trailer I will do 2 chassis, namely one chassis will be designed for Italeri container which it doesn't have right measures, the second chassis will be for real container or tank container. 20' Italeri container has 25cm, the real 20' container has got 25,4cm.

Nice looking chassis but isn't it a little wide? We have made a chassis like that and that is a little less wide. I will look forward to the tank-container.

"Hessel Hemstra" - chassis is not wider because I draw the trailer in programme 3D and is everything ok. Now I need to make out with CNC.

"Boxer" - I would introduce myself but I don't understand Dutch, beside that I had many problems with registration.
My name is David, I have 39 years. Before 19 months I bought CNC and I'm still learning how to do with it but I have already many experiences
so you can expect a lot of interesting models in scale 1:24.

Some progress on trailer

I also make things like that with my own CNC-milling machine. Things look promising. I use Solid Edge as a drawing program. This is also 3D. With your drawings it looks just a little wide but if you have some reference who am I to say your wrong. This will be a nis model.

"Hessel Hemstra" - I'm interesting in what do you draw with 3D programme and what do you make. If you are making models in scale 1:24, we could agree for some change. Why do you think that the trailer is too wide? I measured original trailer and all measure enter in Solidworks. The trailer is ideal for Italeri container.

I guess your chassis is wider because of the super single tires?.....looks a bit like the Italeri dumptrailer chassis and curtainside trailer.
